IKEA AMSTERDAM

My job at IKEA allowed me to develop skills in various areas. The first department where I worked was Recovery. At this deaprtment it quickly became clear to me how the business processes run in a large company. My area of expertise was product quality. For this I wrote reports to improve the products or production. After a while I noticed that I was missing some challenge and switched to the kitchen department within IKEA. A department where I can get more experience with designing and sales. I really enjoy being creative and having sales conversations with customers.

At this department I was involved in designing kitchens, receiving customers as a greeter and training fellow colleagues in the field of equipment. Within this time I have been able to promote myself into a senior kitchen sales specialist. I have learned a lot in a short time and I am ready for a different challenge, a place where I can continue to grow in the field of design for a longer period of time.
